Since its participation in a project for metallic material substitution for automobile weight reduction led by General Motors in 2007, Chunil Engineering has been supplying various parts assembled into automobile powertrain and transmission to GM assembly shops across the world as GM’s primary partner.

[Features and Strengths]

Mold: The company aims to develop molds considering characteristics and functions of automotive plastic parts of diverse types
and premium functions from the initial stage of development according to purpose of use. When problems occur in a model,
design change or improvement of the mold structure is discussed in order to develop molds of high productivity with which to
achieve customer satisfaction, quality stabilization, and thus high added value creation. All parts supplied by Chunil Engineering are
manufactured using internally developed molds.
Injection: The injection line, which is operated under an automated system, is managed with the minimum number of personnel.
For efficient operation, raw materials are supplied under the automatic input system and through the central control system to
individual injection molding machines.
Assembly: In the assembly line, a number of techniques, such as ultrasonic fusion, spinning fusion, and vacuum fusion, are applied
with consideration given to the functional characteristics of parts and the characteristics of raw materials that constitute the parts
