Established in 1984, DAEYOUN produces electronic and general joints and valves for polyethylene gas and water pipes, such as sockets, elbows, and T-joints, through injection molding technique based on its mold design and manufacturing technologies. Providing products for water and gas supply systems of 34 city gas companies and local governments in Korea, DAEYOUN has secured approximately 40% share in the domestic joint market. The company is currently exporting products to the U.S, Japan, China, India, Australia, Romania, and Russia. In particular, in 2015, DAEYOUN entered the Australian market by developing a valve with inner diameter measuring 630mm as the first in the world. As such, DAEYOUN’s competency is recognized in the global market.
